Only thing I recommend is getting loaner services! |

A small mistake required me to drive 40 additional miles to return to the shop to correct the mistake. It was quickly fixed. |

The repair took a little longer than expected but mostly because of new parts shipment and more problems found than the initial breakdown. As always the staff was friendly with lots of knowledge about all things Porsche. |

My Boxster has a clear coat scratch on the passenger side that may have happened while it was in your shop. I hand washed it the night before I brought it in. I did notice a couple of battery guys coming through the front while I waited. This is the first damage done to my car since I have owned it. I did not discover it until I got home. |
Shop Comment After talking to the client and reviewing security footage we have determined the car was not scratched at our facility. |

First time to use Dumont?s. 40k mile service for my 2020 Macan, very professional from start to finish. Brought it in early morning and drive it out same afternoon. Checked all the boxes on the Porsche maintenance recommendations, no ancillary charges, or out of the box suggestions. Nice to know that there are still people/business for care of elite car?s that you feel satisfied when you drive out. Appreciate y?all. I?ll be back for my 80k. Mark J |

I had heard great things from Porsche owners about Dumont's so I was happy when I found out they service older MB. I needed a tune up, points, plugs, gas filter, air filter, etc. After 8 weeks and many phone calls, I was told my car was ready and the bill was $731.00. I picked the car up drove 8 blocks and the car died, it restarted and died again on my 3 mile journey home. I reset the idle and the problem was solved, 2 days later I discovered a fuel leak (new fuel filter). I will continue to search for a MB mechanic that I can rely on to service my beautiful 55 year old MB in a timely and reliable fashion. |
Shop Comment This client was informed we could not work on his car immediately when he dropped it off and we would work it in asap. It was here longer than anticipated. The car came in running on 4 of the 6 cylinders and desperately needed a tune-up. After the tune-up, the car ran great on the test drive however, it did die only when the engine was cold with the AC on when you came to a stop. After a few few minutes driving it would not die. The throttle linkage is fairly complicated with some micro-switches and several pivot points and because of the age of the car we did not have great info for the injection so I adjusted the idle the best we could given the limited information. We test drove the car again twice the next day and it did not die so we felt we made proper adjustments. We did a proper tune-up on the car but the lack of information with respect to adjustments led to the frustration of the client and us, as well. We pride ourselves on taking the extra step and doing a job properly but sometimes you miss the mark as in this case. I spoke with the client afterwards, we had a nice conversation and came to an understanding after I explained what work we did and how we felt we had the idle problem solved. Great car and I wish him well! |
